Intended to rally Britain during the darkest days of World War II, the film shows how the star of England sought to stake an ancestral, royal claim on the soil of France. Inspired by King Henry V who repeatedly challenged French sovereignty, this film culminates in the famous St Crispin's Day speech to the troops and the emblematic and bloody battle of Agincourt.
